She is still pulling up on everything and speed racing around the furniture and crawling like crazy everywhere, talking all the time to NaNa and Dada. Nights have been difficult lately (at least the past month...ugh). She's been waking up nightly around 1:00 and just won't go back to sleep without rocking with me. Then, she can be out on me, and I go to put her back in her crib, and shes wide awake again.. So, needless to say, no one is getting a good night's sleep around here. Her latest mechanism to get me to come get her out of her crib is to cry so hard and get so worked up that she makes herself vomit.... yeah, not cool.. so hopefully we can get past that sometime soon!! She's just getting over what i thought was a diaper rash, but ended up being a yeast infection.. so hopefully that helps the sleeping! And.. She weighed 19 lbs 14 oz at the dr the other day!
Walking is only forced by Mommy and Daddy. She will walk (take 3 steps) to the middle of the room if she has to, but would much rather speed crawl everywhere :)
She's got a new tooth! Just came in a couple days ago.. its the top left one.
She's still eating mostly baby food, loves most everything. She loves crackers, cheerios, and puffs for snacks, but just can't grasp on to the idea of eating real food... she just stares at it.. like, what am I supposed to do with that?!? :) Hopefully with more teeth coming in, that will help eating solid foods along. And she loves drinking her water out of her sippy cup, so we're hoping to have a smooth transition to milk out of the sippy! Lets hope!
Leah has mastered clapping, so big, waving bye bye, patty cake, smacking her tongue, and her newest face is sucking in her cheeks and looking like a fish.. she's so funny.
We can't believe she's 11 months already and will be celebrating her 1st birthday in a month.... time is flying, but she definitely makes everyday interesting and entertaining, and I'm sure that isn't gonna change when she turns 1, but she's just getting so big and just isn't a "baby" anymore.. such a big girl! hmmm. so I was right about the yeast infection....are you using clotrimazole? think thats what it was.
ReplyDeleteyep, yeast infection it was! and yes, we're using the athletes foot cream.. its looking SO much better... still not completely healed.. but hopefully in a couple days.
